Dear Sir,
SUB: Regarding regularising the B Kaharab Land.
Our ancestors were jodidars from more then 100years. They got this land granted during 1879 as service inam land(750 acers) and we have the copy(quit rent) of the same. During 1959 Inam abolishion act our tenents were granted under tanacy act and we last all the lands expect some lands which our ancestors were cultivating by themselves and got regranted in occupiancy rights(got some amt as componsation for the lands vested to govt). 250 acers was kharab lands, gomals out of 750acers.
Among the 250acers of kharab lands our ancestors continued to cultivate 17acers of B-kaharb land and we are cultivating the same till today.
But this land was not mentioned(missed out) in the occupiancy rights application which is submitted to special deputy commisioner of inams for regrant.
My ancestors have shown to govt(when they used to pay taxes to govt before inam abolishion) that they used to get some amount through green manure from that land And there is a Well Dug(Stone well) by my grandfather many years back in that land(still existing).
In pahani it is reflecting as sarkari B-kharab land.
Now we have filed a case with the Deputy commissioner of our district to regularise the same to reflect our name in the pahani rather than (govt sarkari kharab)
let me know if there is any revenue case similar to this and any orders passed by govt of karnataka on land regularization related to the above case.
Please let me know whether our approach is correct or we have to go appeal high court of karnataka.
Thanks,
Rajan
