Hi,
I have finished LLB in 2003. am 38 years old and want to join up a good law firm in Bangalore. Is it possible? Can anyone guide me as to how to approach the law firms? I have a total of 13 years of non legal experience especially in the Sales/Mktg and Management.I am currently enrolled with ICFAI for LLM in Intnl Biz and IPR. Thanx.

As the Bar Council is likely to introduce age limit in enrolment for advocates, it is advisable to get enrolled as an advocate at the earliest.
Regarding law firm job, register yourself in the job portals such as Naukri, timesjob, etc., (There are plenty of law firm jobs available at Bangalore since I have seen frequent notifications). Certain firms have their own websites, you can search and visit them to apply directly also.

Yes, get enrolled as early as possible. Take a search of some good law firm and approach.Now a days the companies hire lawyers who do not have experience. You can find such companies on the job sites like naukri.com, monster, timesjob.com etc. Also register yourself on job portals as suggested by Mr. Siva.
