(Querist) 15 August 2012 This query is : Resolved
I am employed in a private company. Can the company deduct charges for Group Insurance without taking my consent of joining the Group Insurance scheme?

Depends upon conditions of appointment, which you would have accepted before joining the company. So. better consult your own offer cum appointment letter for the purpose.

Rightly advised and generally appoint agreements lay you to abide by service rules framed by HR division. Most hopefully you can not deny it and you should not as the scheme is a benevolent one for employees.
