during my terms as secretary of CHSL at Andheri (E) I had faced a lot of problems from the Society members regarding various matters with the help of the new managing committee I was able to resolve the accounts of the Society. I have got to know recently that some members of the committee of which I was the secretary fraudulently removed their share certificate due to issues of transfer in them. Can you guide me as to what I can do in this respect. I am losing my sleep over this somebody else's crime is being put on me as I was the secretary then.. How can I protect myself? It is not understood, when you have already handed over charge in full, how you are being involved. It seems some records might not have been maintained properly.
However, you would need to have a personal consultation with the expert in coop societies by discussing with him the whole problem in detail.
