Fast way to learn law

(Querist) 21 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

I am getting frustrated and disappointed with the attitude of my lawyer. He is showing least interest in my case and going to a different lawyer doesn't seem to be a good option right now.
Knowing all the facts and having all the documentary proof, I'd like to get myself involved with trial as much as possible.
For this, I'd like to know from the experts, what's the best and fast way to learn about the legal procedures, how to conduct a trial and how to cross examine etc.
Of course, the advocate would be doing it but I'd like to have the know-how so that I'm well prepared when needed.

Thanks

Thanks Ajay.
Yes, that will surely help.

Are there any books or coaching centres for this? Any videos?

I went to a cobbler to get my chappel repaired. There was quite an unusual queue. I was restless, did not want to wait and came home and tried to repair it myself by hammering a nail. But unfortunately, I got my thumb crushed very badly in the process. Forgetting my chappal, I rushed to a Doctor to attend to my crushed Thumb!

Even at this stage of my professional life I could not get the formula you are looking for.

Your adventure may for sure return you the kind of fatality Mr.Anirudh has spoken.

Nothing to suggest more otherwise you shall become more confused.

Anirudh, your satirical comments are not appreciated.

I am not talking about fighting the case on my own. But I want to be well prepared for my case knowing all the details of my case as well as the court procedure.
