i want to know about the sec 138 Nigotiable instrument Act
threre are 3 Director of yhe company , they had givan the cheque the amount of Rs 1100000/- that cheque bounced and another party file case under above sec now , the summance issued by court ,against above three directors, now the date of hearing is 29 april 2013,
now issue is ,the directors will have meeting ,and they wiil not proceed in the court,
what is the procedure for exemption , which document is required for the exumption

make an application for exemption for personal appearance for day . if directors had remained present on earlier date court may grant exemption for the day . see to it that some one represents the company

Court shall not grant the permission because the accused persons have not appeared as yet. Better to appear immediately after the next date of hearing by putting the file
