i have to sell my house. do i need to give the khata certificate from the nagar nigam for the sale deed? the property is in uttar pradesh.

this is an inherited property so the house is still by my mother's name in nagar nigam so can i give the khata certificate from nagar nigam by her name?

if you want to sell the property on your mother demise you need to have mutation done in your name . enlcose copy of your mother dseath certifcate along with legal heir certifcate .

You are required to provide linked khata of nagar nigam prior to your sale to the proposed buyer.
