I was appointed as an incharge lecturer along with many others in april 2003. Then we were regularised as lecturers in january 2013. effect was given to all others who were appointed with or after me from april 2003 but I was regularised w.e.f august 2003. what is the remedy.

You may represent the department for the same. If problem not resolved file legal suit.

You have no suffered any loss due to regularization effect over other lecturers till April 2013 so how are you concerned with the regularization of others?

If all of u were recruited on the same date, then there is no justification for ur being regularized from a later date than the others. As suggested by Shri Goyal u should give an application to your employer for rectifying the defect. Decide further course of action in the light of reply given by your employer.

Mr. M V Gupta, Sir I had written an application but they said there is no defect and paid no heed to my grievances. You are right there is no justification, in fact they have regularized those who were appointed after me w.e.f from april itself. but i don't understand why i was left out and given effect from august. now should I go for writ or any other remedy.

Whether he has to file a case in Administrative tribunal or a regular suit in civil court as said by rajendra goyal. If it is under Administrative tribunal under which Act.

Depends upon inter-se-seniority you got according to the recruitment rules, reservation policies and terms of your appointment. So, your query is not complete, unless you discuss all those aspects or show your recruitment related papers to some expert.

If your seniority has been given from any later date then you are required to first make a departmental representation.
