What willbe the step if the reply uunder section 340 crpc be filed?

My brother lawyer has filed the application under section 340 CrPC in maintenance case and the girl party too has filed the reply in reponse to application under section 340 CrPC..Wht will be the next step to be done buy the magistrate??

if the magistrate think fit that there is a prima facia case has been made out and there is any need for held preliminary enquiry then the magistrate conduct preliminary enquiry or send the complaint to concerned magistrate for further proceeding/cognizance.
