dear sir/mam, i was missed my sister for the past 6 months, and i don't know the laws and orders. i met an advocate near to my native chennai. he asked some money to put writ petition. i hardly arranged that money and i gave to him. but still now he didn't put any petition in high court. what i have to do?and kindly explain the writ petition.

you can ask your advocate, why getting late for hearing, mostely high court cases numbering get slow, mostely in your case reason the same, once agains check with your advocate,

i gave some amount to put writ petition(for my sister's missing) to my advocate. but when ever i am asking him, he just tell me tat he put a case for my sister's missing.i asked him the case number to verify the case status in madras high court web site. but he is not providing the case number.That is what i asked to help me.i need to know what are the cases i can put for tat incident? and how long will be that case duration?
