What if the opposite party does not accept the notice

hi experts as i have got a lot of guidence from u about my family land case regarding it i have send a notice from my lawyer to my 2 uncles both of them did not accept the notice which was send from post what should be the reason as some of our family land was sold n for the remaning we send them notice for not to sell the land n not to take any loan dont know what to do next my lawyer sugessted the notice will be treated as accepted as we have the r.d no of post what must be the reason for not accepting the notice

send notice by email to their ids.

u can also send notice by courier also.

moreover, refusal of notice is also its service.

take stay order from civil court against them.
