Resignation given but not relived even after notice period

sir, I am currently worling at sbi as a clerical I have got a job as PO in bank.of india I have given my resignation on 8 october 2013 asking for immediate release by deducting my one month salary but after more than one month has passed they are not issuing me the discharge letter sir please sugest me what should I do.

notice period for clerical at sbi is1 month

If they are not re leaving, send a Notice of Request, to the higher officials of the bank like., DGM or GM.

In addition you may personally meet the RM and DGM after taking time.

sir i have personally met the RM and talk with him many a time he is saying as there are staff shortage in the region so we can not relieve you

it is with great difficulty that you get a job with SBI . with draw your resignation and continue working in said organisation .

sir actually my joining date at BOI has already passed and I have taken extention but they are not giving me more extention and I am also losing my seniority so is there any way or law which legaly bind them to issue me discharge certificate. plz reply

You can meet the DGM, take the help of Staff Association General Secretory. In SBI they are effective in dealing with the Management. Bank management has no right to play with the carrier of the employees.
