Certainly there is provision to file complaint against society by member/stake holder.
Read the (State) Cooperative Societies Act,Cooperative Societies Rules and Bye-Laws adopted by the society.

i m so sorry for not putting the question properly..i wanted to ask that a member of the co-operative society who is having shares in the co-operative society. whether he can file a criminal complaint u/s420 of IPC.the court is asking for a citation which shows d same..the court is with a view that the member has only one remedy i.e to approach d co-operative court and cannot file a cri.complaint u/s 420.

This is an offence related to the cooperative crimes, hence cooperative court is the competent court to deal with such cases.

It differs from crime to crime and it is not always necessaary to move before the Registrar Cooperative Societies.
If the allegation falls under the provisions of 420 IPC, RCS has no jurisdiction, the complainant has to file criminal complaint before area Magistrate/ police where the cause of action arose.

criminal case cannot be filed against body corporate. It can be filed only against persons who can be described as Mr/Miss/Mrs_______s/o,d/o/,w/o ___________ , r/o ____________ age ______ caste____.
420 case cna lie against office bearer.
