(Querist) 14 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
sir ,i am organising a function in a hotel for about 500 people.
1.what can i do if any uninvited outsider creates nuisance in the party for the sake of defaming me?
2.how can i ensure that no such element creates any disturbance in the function?
ajay sethi (Expert) 14 December 2013
hotel must have security guards . they will take care of untoward incidents . further all hotels have CCTV cameras installed these days . call in security in case of problems
Annu (Querist) 14 December 2013
ajay sir does i need to have police intervention too?
ajay sethi (Expert) 14 December 2013
what for ? you dont need police intervention .
Annu (Querist) 14 December 2013
should a complaint not be filed in police against such a person?
ajay sethi (Expert) 14 December 2013
you can insist that all those who attend function carry invitation card . it will protect your interests . if you apprehend a law and order problem call the cops
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 14 December 2013
you can but this is only a case under section 499 of ipc and this is non cognizable offence so police can not take any action.
Annu (Querist) 14 December 2013
sir can there be any preventive measure?

It forms the duty of the organiser to maintain strict vigil to ensure that there takes place no mishap whatsoever in such private parties. It is you who have deploy your own people as security to restrict the entry of the uninvited guests to the party or to make sure such miscreants do not create nuisance, disturbance or any untoward incident in the party being hosted by you.

If you are very sure about the persons whom you expect to create problem you could inform police they would warn them

Instruct security , restrict their entry.
Even after they enter, security can throw them out of your party hall.
This being ur Private Party, u hv ample right.

It seems u want to arrange your Marriage Party/ wedding ceremony at Jaipur, against the wish of bride's family.

Better take Police Protection in advance.
Annu (Querist) 15 December 2013
shroff sir how can i seek police protection in advance?
V R SHROFF (Expert) 15 December 2013
On apprehension of violence and breach of peace, likely that opponents planning to disturb your occasion, Police will register complain, call opponents, take their statement or undertaking that they will not do any undesired act on that day at that location.
Apply to Police Station, and pay cost for protection if they demand , depending upon the policemen u need.
