T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 15 December 2013
In other words it is cooling off period by which the court expects both to reconcile their differences and change their mind for divorce, save their marriage and resume their marital voyage once again, so the law makers have decided to make it a compulsory waiting period for this purpose. Six months period is not a very long period, why dont one wait.
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 16 December 2013
