Khidmat inaam land selling.

respected sir my uncle have inaami land perticularly khidmat maash inaam in nanded dist. i just want to know can we sell that property. if yes what is the procedure. And my uncle does not have any successor so can he transfer that land to any other his family.

If in the deed of Khidmat Inaam no any term or conditioned mention that no one except he or his successor enjoy or sell the property then ur uncle can sell the said land and may be there is no any bar to transfer of land.

Pl. verify the land is still an inam. Almost all the alienated tenures has since been abolished in Maharashtra and most other States.

Such Inaam lands can be held by the allottee for a certain term of period without able to disposed under the conditions of which the said land was allotted, I think the term is around 30 years or so, please check, for that matter the conditions would have been incorporated in the allotment letter itself, that is the proof of title as well.

Contact a local lawyer and show him all the relative documents, terms and conditions of Inaam etc..
