It appears from your query that you do not know what is the meaning of 'Acquittal' and F.I.R. However, as you are a student you deserve some concession and help from experts. First of all you must know the conditions for making order of acquittal. Firstly, taking evidence as referred to in sec.254 Cr.P.C. is a condition precedent to the recording of an order of acquittal. Such evidence is(a)evidence produced by the prosecution (which obviously includes F.I.R) and evidence as may be produces by the accused. Now you find out the reply to your query. I do not think further modification is necessary on this point.

you are welcome ofcourse if you post here practical problem only not academic ones.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 31 December 2013
add to Mr. Roy's opinion, quashing of FIR is different from acquittal of the accused.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 31 December 2013
An accused is exonerated (out) from the charges in the situation of acquittal. Whereas, quashing of FIR is prayed from High Court while charges levelled in the case are yet to be decided on merit.
