Challenge 30 years old registered document

Hi All,
A property partition document was register on 1970 between two sisters A and B. Among them B was already death.

Now the death person's husband says that the partition document is a forgery. He challenging that B was not signed in the document. Instead of B some one is signed the document...

Whether some one can Challenge 30 years old registered document when the related person is not alive?

Such fraud if has been committed, can definitely be challenged at this stage also if the sufferer has come to know the offence these days.
