This query is : Resolved
Hello sir, I have an query. I am presently working in department of post as postal assistant in grade pay 2400 since 2009. I applied for Senior techical assitant in DRDO without intimating my department or obtaining NOC nor the DRDO. Now I have passed the written examination and have a interview. Can DRDO raise query over the same, if i initimate the same during interview. I was planning for unconditional resignation from by present firm if i get selected. Please help sir.

If you do not want your past service to be counted in DRDO and also DRDO doe not have any pre-condition of getting NOC from your employer, you need not tell anything about your present employment even during your interview.

Your application having not been sent through prper channel you cannot get benefit of past srvice. Further, since you are an employee under new (contributory) pension scheme and also your present post being of lower status than the new post, your past service is not expected to render you any specific benefit.

Thank you so much sir. Just a little doubt sir, as mentioned in the DRDO advt. NOC is required for interview. But as i m not going to intimate about the present emplpyment, wouldnt it cause any problem in future?

You can apprise the higher authority (may be, Superintendent of Post Offices) of the matter and try to get the NOC. The interview board may take an adverse view of the lack of NOC.
Moreover, getting past service counted may be beneficial in more than one way.

Yes, it may take exception but you have no option either.
