Any commitment on white paper does not have any legal value. It can remain valid till she does not change her mind herself, or she is compelled to change her mind by her husband. Neither the brothers nor your sister can ask for any share from your father during his life time.

However I may say that no transfer of property on a while paper is possible unless the same fulfills the conditions of a valid Will.
