Is registration of 11 months rent agreement mandatory in Delhi.

E stamp of 2% average annual rent notarised will work as a valid document in case of any dispute valid before court of Law

Earlier, a rental agreement for a period of one year and above should be compulsorily registrable. Now that provision has gone, now even for one month also the rent agreement should be registered. This is the position in Telangana. You check up with your local area laws. Notary will not work. It will not be taken as evidence in the court.
Hence, get the rental agreement registered.

The registration aspect of 11 months tenancy agreement is again a state subject. It is not mandatory inn states like Tamilnadu or Karnataka, about Delhi, consult a local consultant and proceed.
