MY FRIEND HAVING A SOCIETY FLAT IN CHD AND THE SOCIETY ISSUED HIM NOC FOR FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT OF INTEREST AGAINST LAND COST AND CONST COST BEFORE HOLDING DRAW OF LOTS IN 2007, BUT NOW THE SOCIETY ADMINISTRATION HAS CHANGED AND THEY ARE DEMANDING MORE INTEREST AND SAYING TO HIM THAT THE OLD RECORD IS NOT VALID.
IS THIS KIND OF ACTION OF SOCIETY ADMINISTRATION IS CORRECT AND HAVE LEGAL BINDING ON MY FRIEND. AS HE IS HAVING ALL THE RECORDS PERTAINING TO NOC ISSUED BY THE PREVIOUS SOCIETY ADMINISTRATION.

NOC issued by society would be binding on the society . merely because office bearers have changed does not mean that commitment made by society earlier has no legal force

Sir, Society has issued two letters in this regard to my friend and also threatening him to take serious action against him and report the matter to Registrar Cooperative Societies, Chd to take legal action as per societies act.

move consumer forum against the society for deficiency in service . contact a local lawyer

Issue legal notice to the society and file consumer complaint. Consult local lawyer and show him all the documents.
