Can my mother deny my right of maternal ancestral property

(Querist) 24 February 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi,
My maternal grandfather has an ancestral property and he has 7 siblings (6 daughters and 1 son). all 6 of them registered the property to the son and signed stating that their kids doesnot have any right to claim.

The 6 daughters have kids who are major as well as minor. One of them is having a baby now.

My grandparents are alive and do i have any right to claim?

The daughters of your grand father (i.e. your mother and aunts) have every right to do whatever that they want to do with the property. In fact, if they had given registered document giving their property in favour of your uncle (their brother), they are well within their right to do so.

Nobody, including you, can claim any right in the said property, just because you happen to be the grandson in the family.

Legally, you don't have any right in the property of your maternal grandfather during the life time of your mother. She has every right to dispose of her share in any manner she likes.

So leave aside denial, even the question of your right does not arise in that case.

You have no claim in the property of your maternal grand father as he is alive and your mother has relinquished her rights / share.
