Hi,
I'm Siddharth, I have lended money to my cousin for her dauther's marriage in Feb 2014 through online transfer but without any documantation, After an year I have just received only half of the money & that too after lot of reminders, now he refuses to return the balance amount. What should I do.

You are a lucky man.
Money given to friends and relatives of self and spouse is actually and always a donation in the garb of loan. Such money when taken is never intended to be refunded.
How much is the money balnace.

He has a duty to give you hurting response when you have paid for the same.
You give him more in charity he will insult you more.
If you have to be humiliated by any friend or relative then the best way is to help him financially when he is in crisis.

He has done no crime. He has just refused to return the money given by you. SO no FIR is possible.
You keep on running after advocates, pay their fee and other charges and keep on proving in court that it was debt which he will defend as donation.

You can file case of recovery, if he is not in a position to pay, it would be a costly and time consuming exercise.
