Appointment as postal assistant in department of post

I got a job in dop as postal assistant through direct recruitment examination 2013-14.My result was published on 22/12/14. I received intimation letter on 7/1/15. After the completion of all pre appointment formalities I got my appointment letter on 29/4/15 and said that our in house training will be started from 1/5/15.This letter was issued from my Division on 24/4/15. In the meantime an order from directorate of post dated 27/4/15 stated that no new appointment letter can be issued till further order.Due to this order our division postponed our joining. Till now we have no news regardig the abeyance.since 29/4/15 joining of postal assistants have been stopped in many states due to this order. What should I do now please suggest.

Have you received order of cancellation of your in-house training? If not, any reason for not joining the training on the appointed date without cancellation order?

You have not joined. Govt has a right not to fill the posts.
you actionable right per-se will start from the day when someone else is appointed on this post.

You have no other go than to wait for further orders/directions in this regard.

Send a letter that you tried to join on ___ in accordance to appointment letter and was refused to allow to join by the office.

yes sir i have received order of cancellation of our joining from my divisional superintendent. which stated that according to circle office order our joining postponed.But no reason is mentioned. One thing I want to say that many division released candidates from training who have already started their in house training much before this order.

I received my postponement order on 5/5/15.But they informed me on 29/4/15 over the telephone. Although some of us went to concrrned post office on 1/5/15 but they didn't allow to join and said we would receive order by post.

No alternative, except to wait for the revised order for training.

FIRST BE CLEAR WHETHER IT IS POSTPONMENT OR CANCELLATION.

Per-se you cannot Question non-filing of post.

as citizen you can use RTI seek correspondence and noting (in Distt/ Circle/ Postal HQ) leading to this decision.

be clear if the candidates joined are from same selection.

sudhir ji the order said- all in house training may be kept in abeyance until further orders..yes the candidates who are released from their job are from same selection. However in our state candidates of three divisions are still working.As there in house training was completed two months ago.as the order allowed them to continue in service .They are also from same panel. rti reply says reason behind the stay is not present in material form.
