Written arugment for amendment accepted but no sign on roznama

(Querist) 08 August 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi,
I am Defendant & my lawyer had given a written argument for Written statement amendment as he couldn't come. His assistant asked court to accept the written argument and court did accepted; but didn't allowed to sign on roznama for that document. The assistant is saying its okay.

But I am a bit concerned, first why did the court(judge) specifically asked not to sign. And secondly, is the document then on record or not as its not signed on roznama? Ideally everytime any application is given the sign is taken for it.

Thanks.

Dear Mr Simy
Signature some time taken some time not. The fact of filing written final arguments is mentioned in Order Sheet, but the written arguments on an interim application are sometimes mentioned and sometimes not.

It is not a big issue and a routine work but if you have doubt upon the court itself, you can watch it from some other angles.

Whether the fact of receipt of written arguments written on the order sheet.

Generally, arguments on amendment of WS are not accepted by the court, however, if accepted you must feel obliged/favoured and allowed an opportunity to submit his arguments on next date.
No signature of any advocate (whether main or proxy) is taken by any court in the order sheet, there is some misinformation/ misconception, recheck.
