Transfer of house property from father(deceased) to my mother

(Querist) 20 February 2016 This query is : Resolved
what is the procedure for transferring house property from my (deceased)father's name to my mother? As my father didn't make any nominee or any will, so what are the exact steps to transfer it to mother's name?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 20 February 2016
If you and your mother are the joint heirs of the property then both of you become half share holder in the property.
Now if you want to make your mother sole owner you can gift your half share in her name.
Adv. Yogen Kakade (Expert) 20 February 2016
Rightly stated by Mr. Burman
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 20 February 2016
All the legal heirs of your deceased father, except your mother, may relinquish their right in favor of your mother through registered deed.
