Hello.
I gave my flat to a lawyer around 4 months back.
The rent agreement is notarized and not registered.
Now I've given him the notice to vacate the flat.
I doubt that he will create problem and go to the court.
Can he do so?
If yes then on what basis?
Thank you

There can be number of reasons / basis. Can be told only after going through the case papers if filed by the tenant and other related documents.

It is always advisable to register the lease agreement.. Any dishonest person shall take disadvantage of such negligence. And he is a lawyer doesnot mean he can do anything illegal.. law is equally applicable to all.

Sir.
He hasn't done anything yet.
But i doubt his intentions.
Can you please tell me after how long the tenants get tenancy rights over possession??
I will be grateful
