(Querist) 24 April 2016 This query is : Resolved
Sir, I am 38 yrs old army soldier , living seprate from last 10 yrs with my wife & son from my parents . Recently, my father has expired in road accident. He was ASI in mp police. My younger brother applied for compassinate appointment with all supporting document [ educational, affidavit of mother & me) but SP office rejected application on the bassis of mp govt rule 4.1. This rule said, if any eligible member of dicease is serving in govt job than any other member willnot be eligible for compassionate job. Sir please guide .
Is he eligible or not.

If there is no other earning family member except the deceased employee, then only the eligible family member can get compassionate appointment. But if that earning member living separately, it will be considered. Hence submit application to HOD by submitting an affidavit stating that the earning member separated and no earning member is in the family by the applicant and other family members. then it may be considered as per rules prescribed in that state.
