I want to know how to change my name in flat in CHS after marriage. I have a Gazette Notification and Marriage Certificate

Now want to know how to go about making changes in coop housing society.

If the flat is already in your old name, and you have gazette notification, it does not require change of name. Still you want to change the name get a rectification deed from the vendor and it requires registration.

Do rectification deed for making change in society registrar.

Apply to the society after knowing the procedure to change the name in share certificate. No need to change the same in sale deed in your old name.

Submit requisite form to society with copy of marriage certificate and Gazette, under proper acknowledgment.

What is published in gazette, is it changed name or some other publication? If it is for the changed name, send a copy to Managing Committee of CHS with an application to make necessary amendments.

You can as well contact the co-op housing society for the procedure to get the name changed in their records. There is no need to change the name in the registered document as at the time of registration, your old name prevailed.
