ownership right

My father took a house in a cooperative society in name of his mother in 1972 n she dead in 1978 but filled all installments by my father only till 2008 we have the reciept also. Now other relative asking for share which my father not welling to give. Please tell how to claim ownership right of father.

It is believed that you are Hindu.

The ClassI legal heirs of Hindu woman (mother) are: Husband, sons and daughters................and they shall share equally.

If possible and workable the other Legal heirs may also agree to share the installments.

no reply to repeated query. partition the property and distribute the equal shares among all the legal heirs. Also distribute the remaining installments payments among all the legal heirs in equal amounts.
