Phd completion while on extra ordinary leave

(Querist) 04 January 2017 This query is : Resolved
Hello,
Is there a legal time frame as per CCS rule for the completion of PhD degree when a staff is provided extra ordinary leave for study purpose ?
Can the office demand PhD degree certificate after completion of the extra ordinary leave ?
Thanks
Sunil

We follow CCS rules. In CCS rules there is no time frame for the completion of PHD. Administrative authorities are interpreting as per their convenience.
As our manual do not say anything, I am seeking your help. Please advice again.

Mr. Sunil,

Instead of putting an academic question, you may better go through the conditions of the bond, which you signed before sanction of leave for the purpose of study. You will find the answer, yourself.

Refer the conditions of leave sanctioned.
