Gold taken not returned

(Querist) 27 January 2017 This query is : Resolved
My sister in law taken ornaments gold from me for different occasions on loan basis for functions. She and my brother sent out my mother from house and I supported my mother and when I asked for my gold she is now denying to return. What action I can take to get back my gold

First I fail to understand why you are hiding your name. Have you got any evidence of your sister in law borrowing ornaments from you? Any court will ask you to prove that ornaments were owned by you and your sister in law borrowed with a promise to return

You could file a Police Complaint of Cheating the Jewels borrowed. It would fetch you some result
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 28 January 2017
Do you have proof of purchase / ownership of the ornaments?

Have you proofs of given the ornaments on loan with details?

If she claim that she has not taken any ornaments from you or the ornaments are her stridhan, have you proofs to counter?

Try to have amicable settlement if possible.

May try legal action but success may not be worth enjoying even you have concrete proofs. It may end relation for long / for ever, may invite counter action.
