I have given property on lease for 2 yrs through registered lease deed.2 yrs have passed and tenants are not vacating the property. What recourse is available for getting property vacated.should I accept rent for the period exceeded 2yrs.or I should refuse accepting rent

Each State has its own Rent Act,
You are governed by the Rent Act of your State. consuIt an advocate and act on his advice.

On completion of 2 yr can police help be taken to get property vacated.instead of going to court

This is civil matter, police may not help.

Do not accept rent, send legal notice to vacate the property.

Discuss with local lawyer.
