Good evening all,
Sir I have worked as associate professor in nursing college for 7 years 10 months. I claimed for gratuity , but they refused saying ineligible as my pf is not deducted? Sir, what is relationship between gratuity and pf?

PF is independent of Gratuity as for PF some exemption is there. You may issue a legal notice to the employer and make a complaint to the University which has administrative control over that about non payment of gratuity.

Its a private college. My salary was 56, 900 with 17, 900 basic salary, so they didn't pay pf. Now they are saying as your pf is not deducted.. You are not eligible for gratuity.
