Hi,
I am Hindu & I wanted to marry my maternal parallel cousin (mother's sister's daughter.)
In our community, marriage among children of brother and sister(cross cousin marriage) is valid by custom.
Though not customary, there are few eg(one living eg known to me) of maternal parallel cousin marriages (like my case)as well.
In this case, can I marry my cousin under Hindu marriage act or special marriage act?
If not, what are other options to get married?

You say that cousins marrying each other is valid by custom and in the same breath you also say that it is not customary. What do you wish to convey??
Although the laws of the land do NOT endorse such unions, cousins marrying one another are not a new phenomenon. This practice is rampant in southern part of India.
You just approach a Hindu priest and ask him whether he will solemnise your marriage to your cousin or not?
I personally have come across such couples and they even possess Marriage Certificates issued by the competent authority.
Hope I've answered your question.....
