Wife had given no cross examination purshis for examining my first witness .But now after examining second witness has given application to cross examine my first witness. Is such applications tenable ? Thank you.

Before cross examining any embarrassing questions are put to the examinee the other side says objection your honer.If the Judge says objection over ruled then cross examination continues.With the Hon'ble Judge's permission only the other side has to cross examine the first witness of you. There is no procedural lapse I opine.In the interest of Justice all right things are possible including permission to cross examine a witness which was originally rejected.
