Can a person delegating his power for transfer of shares held in his name to someone else by way of specific power of attorney , can exercise those powers during the existence of the power of attorney.
Parveen Kr. Aggarwal (Expert) 20 February 2010
Yes. When one appoints his agent (power of attorney) being Principal himself remmains with the authority and may exercise the powers as principal and also revoke the power of attorney at any point of time.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 20 February 2010
A Principal is always free to utilise his rights even though he may have provided power of attorney on his bahalf of any other person to utilize those same rights in his absence.

I agree with lrd friends and add that the Principal can exercise his rigths after verifying that whether the Power of attorney holder already transferrred the asset or not .
