Legal actions may cause you huge expenses and inordinate delay. Rather, get the insurance renewed in your name.

File a case against the party, by approaching an experienced Advocate of your area and show him the Agreement made between you.

You are at liberty to get a the insurance from date of registration in your name.Forget about the seller's foul play as
you need his cooperation till the completion of transaction.

Expert advice at above may be followed as Insurance policy can be issued in the name of the owner of vehicle only. A mutual settlement in the interim period as regards insurance cover is the best way out till finl payment and transfer of R.C. Book is over.

The ownership of tractor is not yet transferred in your name, so it is the liability of seller to get the insurance renewed, discuss and sort out amicably, however, if unable to sort out return it to him and file suit for recovery of the amount paid to seller through a local prudent lawyer.
