Sir,
Can a goverment employe deposit some money into his account other than his salary account if the money is given by his parent to deposit into his account ?

Under CCS Rules, if your parents give you any property, you shall inform the authorities about the property getting from the parents and obtain prior permission. Otherwise it will be treated dis-appropriate asset.

Now, Govt.employees are required to submit Annual Property Statement every year. If any fund or property is received from sources other than Salary, then this has to be properly disclosed in the year of receipt.

Disclose the transaction to your employer.

Better deposit as deposit in your parents name. Otherwise inform your office in writing if the deposit is beyond prescribed limit which you can ascertain from your employer.
