Cheque bounce case

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 April 2025 This query is : Resolved
We have filed a cheque bounce case and accused has missed a date in court. The case is registered. Accused is a lady and now threatening me that she knows the judge of the case. My father is a complainant. Please let me know the consequences if the lady actually knows the judge.I have not heared this type of non-sense. Will this have any impact on case?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 19 April 2025
Your father has filed the case in the court. So let him follow the case.
If that lady knows the judge, what is that going to do for the conduct of the case.
If she is threatening then he can lodge a police complaint against her separately for this offence.

Thank you sir! She has also sent me an image of thejudge on whatsapp and told me that she can call the judge directly..can we this chat to file complaint? This is covered under which offence?
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 19 April 2025
Agreeing with above views I will add that you can filed application for change of judge, attaching a copy of FIR lodged against her.

Thank you sir. Does these things happen really? Also, what I know is judges get changed because of their transfers in few years automatically? Should we actually change the judge?
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 19 April 2025
Better file a case transfer petition before CJM Court narrating all the conversation and facts and get the case transferred from present court to another court.

If the accused has sent such a message to your father, show it (message) to the concerned judge, confirm its veracity and report the matter against the judge if there is some truth in her (accused's) statement.
However, the facts vis-a-vis query posted are unconvincing and unbelievable.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 21 April 2025
Those who know th4e concerned authorities generally do not boast such connection.
