suit and notic of motion

sir you are requsted to tell me that what is difference between "suit" and "notice of motion"

Dear Mr.Jamshed Alam Shaikh,

I would like to draw your attention to the Rules of the Concerned High Court in this regard.
Otherwise as it is evident notice of motion means that something is being brought to the notice of the Hon'ble Court for getting it adjudicated.
The word suit means when the plaint is admitted, numbered and registered it becomes suit. Kindly refer to the Civil Procedure for more info.

Notice of motion may be given to the defendants for the Suit or any mention / application in the Suit matter !
