Please let us know, how to defend the cheque bounce case. what r the key points to prepare to save our clients from the negotiable instrument dishonour(cheque).

Dear Sajid,
There are several limbs of defence available for Section 138 N I Act cases to start with see the chronology as to whether the limitation period stands filled by the complainant secondly whether the cheque drawn is towards discharge of subsisting legal debt, whether after reciept of notice any part consideration stands paid rest of the things are procedural. Better you do research of case law.

Sajid! Each and every case is distinct and unik so better you place facts before us. Otherwise also we lawyers should not promote dishonestly in the society. If the accused is guilty in our eyes, he should be advised to make compromise with the complainant by depositing at least the amount of cheque.
