Sixth Pay Commission

My father is a retired teacher from NHPC. He got retired in Oct 2009. However he doesnot know if sixth pay commission applies on him also. And if it applies, what is the process to get it initiated.

You can consult the Pensioners Association of which your father must also be member by now. They will have the necessary papers with them to clear your doubt and help your father.

sixth pay commission is applicable only to central govt employees and pensioners.

NHPC is not covered.
