Illegal Ownership over the Panchayat land

Hello Sir/Madam

I'm from a small village in Amritsar ( Punjab ), my issues are regards to panchayat land, where people are un-authorised staying and forcibily showing their ownership over the lands. Long time Government had planned to built hospital over that panchayat land, but till date there is no single show-case from the government side.

When enquired from those people( those who are saying its their property) they said, they bought the panchayat land from the Sarpanch, but sarpanch says show me records. Now the issues is that, how to get the matter re-solved. People at my village are of backwards thoughts, they think whatever they do forcibily, its right. Even I tried to contact Patwari, but system is so corrupted that no one is ready to help me.

Till date, there are muddy roads, still there is no improvement sign at my village. People say many things, but no-one is ready to be the volunteer. I want to do something for my village, but I dont have anyone to show the right way.

I know its a difficult task but My purpose is that I should do something for my village, and let people should also know that there is nothing over the law.
