respected sir query is that a car owned by a person by his name exmple mr.X now last month he died and also this month insurance of his car also become due . Now is new insurance policy issued his name of other name .
If mr.B son of Mr.X want to tranfer his car own name that time MCD asked for insurance also
what the good way

BUYING A POLICY OF INSURANCE MEANS THE PERSON DESIRING INSURANCE MAKE A PROPOSAL AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL AGREES TO SALE HIM THE POLICY.

THEN HOW A DEAD PERSON CAN PROPOSE OR BUY ANY INSURANCE.

THE WAY OUT MAY BE TO APPLY FOR TRANSFER STATING ALL THE FACTS BY AFFIDAVIT BY THE HEIR[S] OF DECEASED AND THEN PROPOSE AND BUY THE INSURANCE AND FILE THE BOND AND GET THE REGISTRATION TRANSFERED.

B should renew insurance in his name and he should apply thereafter for the change of ownership in his name.

i wonder how can one buy a valid insurance of vehicle not registered in his name.??
