under Mrtp Act sec 143 the planning authority/ development aoyhority of Pune (PMC) had passed a resolution to charge compounding fees to regularise the unauthorised construction. The levy of exorbitant fees as sought to be stipulated has no nexus with the provision 143 of MRTP Act and it also does not allow the PMC to charge such exorbitant fees

All managed by Govt pleader, Attorney General, every day plead word to word, and charges few lakh for regularization of unauthorized construction of multi crores! All managed! it is drama of compounding. even the Chief Justice, High Court ask the same Question daily, and Govt pleader answered the same word to word, , only party differ, Attorney General, judges, topic remains same, with similar fine for multi crore projects. how much money must be exchanged? only foreign swiss a/c knows.
it is in Mumbai- Thane Region. I can't say abt Pune. Can site Bombay HC judgement for reduction of exorbitant fees
