If there is any provision to change birth place in court of law?

Respect Sir,
I was born in mumbai.
My mom she is illiterate could not make my birth certificate. later she made an affidavit for my education where it was wrongly mention that im born in nepal. Now I am graduate. it is mention in all the school certificates that im born in nepal.
Please advice me if there any provision to make alteration on birth place.
what is the procedure to obtain citizenship of India?
because due to this Im not able to get my passport.

you need to get some documentary evidence to prove your case and thereafter go for Suit for Declaration.
its a serious matter and needs strong evidence.
Janam patri is not considered as a cogent evidence.

You must produce Evidence. As nationality changes, it will not be allowed on the basis of Affidavit alone. It will be taken seriously, So find out proof, Which Hospital of Mumbai u were born, Dr. name, etc etc..

Thank you very much sir.
not only my place of birth has been wrongly mention but also my date of birth.
according to my mom i am born in Nair Hospital.
the problem is that apart from my educational documents like school leaving certificate or degree certificates i do not any other relevant documents.
I have Pan Card that too with same information.

If you are able to get any documents to show your birth in Mumbai(Then Bombay) from the municipal records, you can get an oppertunity
