Will giving a copy of sale deed to a property management hurts any way? I am planning to pay for a property management to maintain my house (including renting , getting EC, electric bill payments). They just need copy of sale deed. Is it OK to give it? also is Just getting EC is enough to see property is secure ? How frequently I should get EC.
Thanks

Unless you give a copy of sale deed the property management might not be effective. Giving a xerox copy would not harm you in any way unless some fraud is committed by the receiver of the xerox copy document. If your original is with you and if you obtain EC and if the EC does not reveal any encumbrance, your title is safe. There is no frequency for getting the EC. It is up to you.

You cannot hold EC from and address in which you do not reside.
You cannot be reigstered as voter at 2 places. It is crime.

Mr.Sudhir, the author is asking about Encumbrance Certificate of Property. Query is not related to Election Commission.

Thanks for your advice Mr. Malipeddi Jaggarao,
Exactly my worry is "unless some fraud is committed by the receiver" so this can be misused.
