For divorce made under ritualistic Hindu Marriage, one need not produce any proof at the time of hearing.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 02 December 2012
Only affidavit of both parties in support of their marriage is sufficient proof.

thanks alot...
prabhakar singh (Expert) 08 December 2012
Even in absence of registration a marriage can be proved by several evidences while in your case nothing of that short is needed as the relationship is not disputed.

However a Hindu marriage can not be dissolved except by a decree passed by court so even if you both are in agreement for dissolution still a mutual consent petition and decree would be required as the same can not be deemed to be legally dissolved by any privately arranged mode,be it affidavit or otherwise any thing.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 08 December 2012
The regitration of marriage in India despite of SC judgment is only -01%.
